Different options different households: have you noticed that sometimes when you "invite" a sim over sometimes you are given the option to "invite entire household" ? other times it is just "invite sim?" Why is it different?

Like sometimes my sim has the option to call "transportation" and other sims do not have that option. It has nothing to do with whether or not they have a car, all of my sims have a car and this still happens.

and another thing..............I had one of my sims go to town and I was given the option to select WHICH sims in the household to go with this sim to town. Usually it is just "this sim or multiple sims" but this household gave me the option to pick and choose exactly which sims to go with to town. The only problem is, when the sim got into the taxi, it did not go to town it just drove off and I was at the house with the remaining sims and a taxi showed up every few seconds and blew the horn AFTER she had left. I had to exit the lot. I don't know what will happen once I reenter the lot, if that sim will show up or still "be at town." *shrugs*
