Will sims be able to have more than one baby?

Yes they can have twins and triplets but thats extremely rare

Sims can have up to 7 children at different times, and twins and triplets

FemaleAdult Sims can give birth to seven children.
Single children=Common
Twins=Uncommon
Triplets=Rare

You can't have triplets!
