Yes. Have you not seen the screenshot on the Sims 2 site?! :o There is a picture there with a baby waving a bottle at a teen. The baby has a hunger symbol flashing above it's head. You should check the site out... it's cool! :D

Babies can't tell you when they are hungry but toddlers have a needs bar like the adults but with less things on them.

Babies tell you when they are hungry by they start wailing, and then their picture on the left side of the screen turns yellow. This means they either have a dirty diaper or they are hungry. So they tell you in their own way.
