I'm running windows 2000 and the sims won't install itself and i'm having the hardest time figuring out the manual install. can someone walk me through it or know where to go?

I don't have Windows 2000, but most windows versions are alike lol. Click on My Computer from the desk top, then click on the cd rom drive you have the game in. From there the auto install menu should show up. Or, click on start, then click on run, type in D:\setup.exe and click OK and it should start the menu :)
