No matter what I do, the mime ALWAYS comes to all my parties. It's so annoying! Can anyone help?

Drew Carrey always shows up to my parties and boy can he be annoying when I'm trying to get my sims to do other things lol. Basically what I do for parties is host them outside, I setup the dj thing, create a dance floor with cages, fill a couple of buffet tables, and put plenty of port-o-pottys on the lot lol and buy the dancer cake, then I invite everyone over and have one of my sims dj while the other keeps everything cleaned up. My sims never enjoy their own parties, only their guests do... course, isn't that the way it works in real life too? LOL!

Toilets are a problem with parties. Guests will always, in my experience, go to the nearest toilet regardless of how many you put on the lot.

One of the vacation packs, I think it's either Vacation or Unleashed, adds a ladies room door and a mens room door to the collection so you can set up a room of toilets for the men/boys and a room of toilets for the women/girls. Also useful for normal house usage as well :)

Party wise - if the mime turns up, buy something that's fun (and preferably cross age as well) and get everybody to take part in it (kids can always get their kicks in the climbing frame if you should pick an adult only form of entertainment). The mime will soon disappear of his own accord; remember, he thinks he's there to entertain - key word.

Servo, if you have Livin Large, is also useful to clean up afterwards and as you go along and keep the toilets clean and so on. Even more useful if you don't want/need to use the caterer. Just get the last Sim to turn Servo on before going to bed and he will sort everything out for the morning.

That sounds like Drew Carey you're referring to, he turns up when you throw a "good" party in his stretched limo. It's part of House Party and not Superstar.

At least one site has Drew Carey's apperance in House Party down as an Easter Egg. I don't know why as it's an actual event that is triggered in game play; a true Easter Egg is manually triggered. You don't decide that Drew Carey turns up, he just will if the party goes well.

If you buy a couple dance floors, the DJ thing, a couple dance cages, one or two cake dancers, buffet table, punch bowl, hire a caterer, and dress up in costumes. That will help you. Make sure you have plenty of toilets, and have some music going all the time, with one of your sims DJing, and maybe the other dancing. The sim that is dancing, click on someone else, and the Join interaction will appear. Click on that , and do that with other people, and soon a lot of people will be dancing, and you'll have a great party! Hope it works!

If u want ppl to stay for a party... get every1 inside, then take awayall the doors. turn the music uo, put the food on and party they have no chance of leaving ur house.

If u have house party hire a caterer, and food table. If ur party iss tht good a french man will come and start mimming.

To throw a good party with the sims what I would do is have a backyard full of beds and everything pool, barbeques and all .... the close it so no sims can leave or download the evil teddy bear from this site and kill them if (they are bad lol) jk

The way I throw a good party is to invite everyone that your Sims know over to the house. I then have a DJ deck, cakes and all the party stuff ready for when they get there and just let the Sims run wild for a bit. If you have pets with the Sims that you want to throw a party with, I suggest you do not because the animals get depressed and their social will go down because their owners are not spending time with them.

If you like the feeling of being in a movie theater then your gonna love the bass on Beats Headphones. beats by dre is a slight problem with the bass when your listening to music at an extreme volume but you wouldn't care anyways since you really dont need to listen to them that loud and trust me I listen to them at a high volume. beats by dre are not the best noise cancelling headphones but you should have no problem listening to music in a noisy environment.
