My sim got abducted by aliens. But it never came back, what do I do?

Is your sims face still on the bar. If so sometimes if you tell it to do something then they come back

what about when a kid is looking in the telescope and all of the sudden all these birds swarmed around her and she was lifted up and her icon dissapered. is that the same thing as what ur talking about?
