I think if u start a fire and u lock evry1 in the house your pet will die 2! (not that i wud want a cute lil animail 2 die lol)

And if you don't feed it, cos when you forget 2 feed you fish and stuff they die!!!

Even if you just do not spend time and pay attention to the pet it will also die. I had one and fed it but then the fasmily had a baby and I was not paying attention and it told me he was in a bad mood to pay attaention to him and the next day the reaper came and took him and I was feeding him and I had auto feeding bowls Plus the stray cats were also filling bowls
I love watching the smart cats they sit on the couch and watch TV get in the fridge and get food LOL Silly cats took over on of my homes I had to get a No pet door to keep them outside :0) as well as take the sit on couch thing off so they would let the sim siit down LOL

the cats also die of the mystery unleashed ailment im having trouble with that right now, so yeah i dont know how to cure that lol, ok well that was no help because i dont know how you get it either, but i know that if the cat bites the owner the owner gets the disease aswell, its like rabies lol.

It depends, really. No, pets cannot die of old age, like your Sims, but they can die.

Firstly, they can die from house fires. This is why you should always install a smoke alarm.

Secondly, make sure your pet is well-fed. There is no point in buying a food bowl, and leaving it empty for a month.

Thirdly, pay attention to your pet. If it wants something, give it to them.

Finally, this is unconfirmed, but reports say that the Repo Man can take pets.

I hope now you realise how important it is to take good care of your pets.

my dog died cuz none of my sims were paying attention to it, they grim reaper ringed the doorbell too, i was freaked out and i thot it was weird so i didn't talk to him. anyway i want coco back! well i havent even been playing with the sims. i am now only sims 2
