When you first create a family you are stuck with 20.000 simoleans, will there be more simoleans in TS2?

I don't think they've told us that yet, but I do know there will be a money cheat in TS2. If you're still stuck with $20 000 you can just use the money cheat.

i personally dont like cheating but the cash you start off with is a bit limiting !!! I wish i could answer your post ... but i havent heard about that yet !!!

I've read there will be more money for your Sims to start with, but I'm not sure about it.

My very first Sim created in Sims 2 worked her butt off and had no time to socialize then she became an elder and died. I'm so glad there is a cheat code for more funds because your sims don't have long enough to live to make enough money and marry and have kids and have fun etc. They spend all of their time working and developing skills so they will get promoted, then next thing you know, they are about to expire.
