It says I can propose to sims but where is the sign that says propose my sims are in love but can't propose

I don't think u can propose 2 a sim that u're already living with, only the other people in u'rr neighbour hood.
If ur alredy livin with the sim ur already married (if its a man and woman or if they are gay ). So u cant propose .
In the regular sims game you could prorpose if the genie makes you fall in love.Even a sim thats already married could fall in love with you.Just watch out cause the genei could do alought of damage if he messes up!
