will you plz give me step by step information about installing The Sims and its expansion packs?

1) insert the sims original disk.
2) follow the instructions.
Do the same for the expansion packs. On some the serial number is on the booklet inside the case.

Installation Order:

1) The Sims/Deluxe/Double Deluxe
2) Livin Large
3) House Party
4) Hot Date
5) Vacation
6) Unleashed
7) Superstar
8) Makin' Magic

Be advised that that The Sims Deluxe includes Livin' Large and that Double Deluxe also includes House Party.

They say it is best to start with a clean system meaning uninstall and run the Sim Eraser that is found at the official sims site I also had to go in and manually delete the WHOLE Sims folder. Then clean the system with the clean tool under system tools and run a sys scan and defrag then install i nthe order i was told it helps to actually run each game in between installs too Just let it turn on and go in and back out maybe clicking the test house where the newbies live that was what i done


When i added unleashed I worked from 5:30 pm till 2 am before able to play UGH
All because I did not delete that darn folder I only have UL and plan on getting HD and HP this week was thinking of MM as well but also heard a lot of stuff on hard install there as well as Vacation so I am leary on them now UGHHh I am NOT looking forward to this and I pray i can manage to back up and get the stuff back in after i do it as i had to lose EVERYTHING that I had worked on when I added UL

So back up the stuff and then go through the removing
